La Chambre de la Sirene (The Mermaid Room)is a mere 50 feet from the beach.

The Mermaid's Bedroom is so close to the beach that there may be times when you feel as if the waves are breaking right outside your door. Feed your senses-listen to surf crashing on the beach and the cries of the gulls, breathe in the pristine sea air, feel the the wind and sun on your face, wiggle your toes in the sand and gasp in amazement at how cold our northwest waters can be.

This 400 square foot ensuite apartment features a large periscope viewing window, cozy fireplace and is loaded with Mermaid memorabilia, including a signed and numbered stained glass mermaid table. After arriving on the property, access the Mermaid's Bedroom by walking down a meandering cobblestone path constructed of decorative beach rock. Please observe all posted signs warning of mermaid crossings. Privacy is guaranteed for guests of the Mermaid with access through a separate entrance, no walls in common with other guests and no shared bathrooms.

An Eastern King bed with luxurious European linens promises the best nightís sleep you have had in years.  At the end of a busy day hiking and exploring the Olympic Peninsula relax in the wonderful 20-foot combination swim-spa/hot tub or soothe aching muscles in the Finnish sauna. As dusk approaches gather with the other guests to salute another amazing sunset or have a glass of wine and socialize around the beach fire cauldron. Watch the cruise ships go by and enjoy the night lights of Victoria. Summer and winter skies are loaded with stars.

The Mermaid offers a well-appointed galley kitchen, which you can stock yourself or place a grocery order to be waiting for you when you arrive.
